Astonishing Wooden Sculptures By Gehard Demetz

.

Well this guy certainly knows how to use a chisel. Fantastic work sir! Amazing even! You should have won lots of prizes by now for this work. Like a small car or at least a hamper of fine meats.
Gehard Demetz work manages to use a natural material and bring a modern and perhaps even digital feel to each sculpture. His style carries a signature of small missing or lost parts and open joins or seams that are mirrored in many of today's digital visual media, whether it be TV, video games or streamed video.

High End Computing By Million Dollar PC

.

This is a PC... not a blender from the future... or the part needed to fix your broken boiler...

Its a PC... Not a military super computer that can beat Russians at chess. A regular desktop for you and me... and Russians... and ex military.

This is the Edelweiss by Million Dollar PC.

Lets just hope its not running Vista hey.

Hobnox Audiotool - In Browser Audio Production

.

This really is a fantastically impressive piece of in-browser tech. A fully fledged studio all in Flash which is easily good enough for any budding music producer to smash out a few tunes on.
The set up has a full suite of effects units, drum/pattern machines, bass units and even a recording facility. However, this is currently limited to just 5 minutes which, when considering its orientated towards the electronic/dance music scene and the average length of a tune these days hits the 7 minute mark, this seems a little ill considered.
The .aweSomeness logo was added to the tone matrix for extra awesome musicalness... Boom!

Moneygami - Origami with Dollar by Won Park

Some great origami skills...
Also known as Money Folder, most of his work has been produced using dollar bills although he has recently moved on to the euro. Won recently forced Apple to remove an iPhone app from the App Store due to copyright infringement. Won's Origami
Star Wars Tie Fighter had been lifted right from his Deviant Art account by the producers of the app and used to advertise it. More information on this can be found in his journal.
No cutting, gluing or tape were used in the harming of these paper animals.

Adopt a Robot!

.
Brian Marshall has created the worlds first robot orphanage; Adoptabot in Wilmington, Delaware, US of A.
Crafted from various discarded ephemera, Brian's pieces have a special charm to them. Each of them with their own character.

The individual pieces can be purchased from the home of all cool handmade things, Etsy. Ranging from $75 to $325, these are easily cheaper than adopting a real child and they probably have fewer behaviour issues.

More of Brian's past creations can be found on his flickr spot.

Anthony Rouselle - Gorgeous Wooden Jewellery Designs

.
Anthony Rouselle's pieces could easily be mistaken for sculptures rather than the rings and bangles they actually are. Lovely.
